Meet Karen

Karen Adamedes is an Australian author and Amazon Top 10 bestselling nonfiction writer who combines a long-standing love of mysteries with her passion for cruising and travel. Her fascination with solving complex puzzles began early, reading her father’s extensive collection of Agatha Christie novels.

When she cruises, Karen loves the music, activities, and atmosphere of Sea Days, along with exploring new places when in port. Her travel is often built around catching up with family and friends, visiting art galleries and museums, enjoying local cuisines, and coffee. Lots of coffee.

Karen now considers cruising “research.” She spends her time booking cruises, going on cruises, and writing about cruises. The Art of Deception is her first novel, offering readers the immersive experience of a luxury cruise wrapped around a tightly woven mystery.
